Job summary

Cayuga Health’s Registered Nurse position at Cayuga Primary Care – Community Corners in Ithaca, NY, supports physicians and mid-level providers with direct patient care and clinical activities. The RN may assist in scheduling and related tasks to ensure optimal patient service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the New York State Nursing Practice Act.
• Carry out all assigned nursing procedures for patient comfort and safety.
• Triage for physicians/providers with regard to clinical questions, prescription refills, test results and other patient calls per practice protocols.
• Prepare patient records for visits and patient education as directed by physician/provider.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and committees as requested.
