Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services (NMHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while leading and problem solving as shifts change.

You will participate in ongoing education, support preceptor activities for new staff, and uphold NMHS behavioral standards while delivering compassionate care to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Mississippi.
• Strong ability to apply the nursing process and document care.
• Demonstrated leadership in prioritizing, delegating and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, quality patient care using the nursing process and document accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with NMHS policies as directed by the Nurse Manager and Educator.
• Participate in Preceptor class for training of new staff.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
• Attend daily huddles to plan assignments and coordinate shift coverage.
• Maintain competency through continuing education.
