Job summary

The Orchards Michigan in Harper Woods, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. The RN will provide nursing care, administer medications, and support physicians during procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Prepares for and assists Physicians and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Reinforce supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families.
• Participates with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs and general condition.
• Records on patient charts observations of patient responses to care.
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to patient comfort and safety.
• Assists with unit management and may assume charge of unit as assigned.
