Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Assists physicians with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Reinforces health care instructions to patients and families.
• Participates with team in planning and evaluating nursing care.
• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Observes and reports vital signs and patient's condition.
• Maintains patient charts and records of care rendered.
• Ensures a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
• Assists with unit management and may assume charge of unit.
