Job summary

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center, is seeking a registered nurse to provide and coordinate patient care in Washington. You will collect assessment data, develop and implement a care plan, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

You will ensure adherence to the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act and ASA Standards, with emphasis on age-specific care and proper documentation. A valid NC RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state is required.
• Basic Life Support is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care including data collection and plan of care.
• Identify interventions to reach outcomes and document progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and delegate tasks per NC Nurse Practice Act.
• Address age-specific and unique patient/family needs.
