Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an on-site Registered Nurse to protect, promote and restore health for patients across the continuum. You will collaborate with providers and a multidisciplinary care team to coordinate care and support patients and families.

Required qualifications include active RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan, a BSN, and current BLS. Experience in a healthcare setting and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office are expected.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date.
• BSN degree.
• Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record and basic Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the RN licensure, collaborating with providers and care teams to coordinate care across the continuum.
• Assesses and supports physical symptoms and provides psychological support to patients, friends and families.
• Mentors assigned team members and promotes best practices.
• Maintains professional disposition at all times.
