Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a collaborative team. Eligible clinicians may progress through a Clinical Ladder with potential salary adjustments based on experience and advancement criteria.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, planning and implementing individualized care, safe administration of medications, patient education, and teamwork across departments. Requires RN license and BLS; acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Nursing degree requirements: Associate's or higher with RN licensure.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols with safety and accuracy.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
