Owensboro Health Pain Management Henderson is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct nursing care in a specialized unit. You will implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate multidisciplinary care with physicians, therapists, and staff to ensure safe, effective treatment.

The role requires Kentucky RN licensure, an associate degree or higher in nursing, and BLS certification within 45 days of employment. The position is full-time at 0.9 FTE in Henderson.

Qualifications

  • RN - Licensed as a Registered Nurse, eligible to practice in Kentucky upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 45 days of employment.
  • Associate's degree or higher, or Diploma in Nursing, required upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and monitors patient care plans.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition appropriately.
  • Acts as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated care.
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
  • Coordinates discharge planning needs with patient/family and team.
