Job summary

Lamb Staffing is seeking a PACU RN for a travel contract in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate has a valid RN license, at least two years of recent PACU experience, ACLS and BLS, NIHSS, and Cerner experience. The unit operates 24/7 with holiday call requirements and overseen by a charge nurse and supervisor.

Typical cases include Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology and General Surgery. Travel benefits include lodging stipends and weekly pay, with dedicated credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in PACU.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• NIHSS certification preferred or required.
• Cerner EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide PACU care for Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology and General Surgery cases.
• Unit is overseen by Charge nurse and Supervisor.
• Handle high-acuity cases with appropriate monitoring and interventions.
• Be available for holiday call as required (2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday).

Schedule Mon-Fri 10-1030p 665A PACU Ground Fl - PACU RN Min of 2 years of RECENT experience within specialty. Required AHA ACLS & BLS. NIHSS Cerner Exp Open 24 hours 7 days a week. Unit is covered with call on holidays. Cases seen as follows: Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, General surgery cases. Higher acuity cases done on this unit. Unit is overseen by Charge nurse and Supervisor. Holiday Expectations: MUST work 2 major Holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day New Year's Day AND 1 Minor Holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve New Year's Eve
