Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - PACU in Elmhurst, IL. Per diem position with hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, with potential to come in earlier as needed.

Weekend call every 5-6 weeks and holiday rotation are required. Pay ranges from $36.00 to $55.80 hourly, with a new minimum of $37.25 base hourly pay beginning with the second paycheck in October. This role requires nursing licensure and ongoing certifications, with opportunities for growth and competitive

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Uses critical thinking to assess patients, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress and document observations.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and works as part of a team to meet unit goals.
• Duties may vary by unit or shift.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

  • Weekend Call Requirements every 5-6 wks (12 hr shifts - Days/Nights)

  • Holiday Rotation (12 hr shifts - Days/Nights)

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. What you will need:

• Education:

  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

• License/Certification:

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
