Job summary

The Surgery Center of Middle Tennessee is seeking a full-time PACU Registered Nurse to work Monday through Friday. You will perform post-anesthesia care duties, monitor patients, and collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure safe recoveries.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold an active RN license in Tennessee, maintain BLS and ACLS, and have at least two years of operating room experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Two years of operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PACU nursing care using the nursing process.
• Move or lift patients and equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with staff and physicians to ensure safe recoveries.
• Maintain active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications; comply with background checks.

The Surgery Center of Middle Tennessee is a freestanding outpatient surgical facility dedicated to a broad range of surgical procedures. We are currently searching for a (FT) PACU Registered Nurse to work Mondays - Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Responsible for the knowledge of principles, theories and practices of the nursing process and the ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals and to move or lift patients and equipment.

Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of operating experience.
