The ideal candidate holds an RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certs; acute care experience is preferred. This is a full-time, day-shift position with 8-hour shifts and strong teamwork expectations.

Qualificações

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS certificate required within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS certificate required within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Moderate Sedation competency completed within 30 days of hire.

• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Coordinate care with surgeons and other clinicians in the outpatient department.
• Work with other departments to ensure quality patient care and efficient flow.
• Ensure adherence to regulations, standards, and unit policies.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and team meetings.
• Serve as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.

Our Outpatient department provides a diverse range of services, including outpatient services, GI/endoscopy, and infusion therapy. One of the greatest strengths of our Outpatient services dept. Is our exceptional team of experienced and dedicated nurses. With nursing experience ranging from 10-40 years, our team brings a wealth of clinical knowledge, expertise, and compassion to patient care.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicates with physicians, / Director of Surgical Services, House Supervisor and co-workers, as appropriate about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• The Registered Nurse is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Coordinates the care of the patient with the surgeon and/or anesthesiologist, directs and guides and other personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Out Patient Department.
• Works with other departments and co-workers to provide quality patient care across the continuum, efficient patient flow and unit maintenance and organization.
• Responsible for adherence to regulations, standards and hospital or unit policies and procedures.
• Responsible for participation in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services.
• Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS (AHA or ARC) certificate required 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous acute care hospital experience; preferred.
• Moderate Sedation competency completed within 30 days upon hire.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
