Job summary

Qualifications

The Care Team RN provides comprehensive nursing care within the Cardiology Outpatient Practice, focusing on Valve and Structural Heart Disease Clinics. Responsibilities include pre-visit preparation, direct patient care, education, and care transitions, with effective communication and collaboration with providers and team members. The RN supports professional practice across care settings, adhering to the Mayo Nursing Care Model and ANA standards, and demonstrates leadership through mentoring, precepting, and quality improvement activities. Delegating patient care based on skill, experience, and resource availability is essential.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program, with at least one year of RN experience; cardiac experience and a BSN are preferred. Candidates must hold a valid RN license, BLS certification, and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills. Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing situations is required.
This role is nonexempt, full-time, and eligible for benefits. Compensation ranges from $35.84 to $58.84 per hour, with a focus on professional growth and competitive pay. The position does not involve international assignments or weekend shifts.
