Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem shifts to deliver professional nursing care, assess patient conditions, and document observations. Shifts available 6a-2:30p, 7a-3:30p, or 8a-4:30p, Monday–Friday as needed.

You will collaborate with the care team, delegate tasks as appropriate, and participate in a care plan to support patient recovery. A BSN within 5 years is preferred; Illinois RN license and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher; BSN within 5 years from start date.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Assess patients' condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and records observations.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and function as a team member to meet unit goals.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. What you will need:

• Education:
  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• License/Certification:
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
