Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Surgery team in a collaborative environment delivering evidence-based care. The role emphasizes whole-person care—physically, emotionally and spiritually—and requires authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The position features a 10-hour Day shift (FT/Days) with occasional weekends and call shifts, a sign-on bonus eligibility for experienced unit staff, and a comprehensive benefits package to support work-life

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program; ADN required.
• Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact state.
• BLS certification (AHA); unit-specific Life Support training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience preferred.

• Plan and manage care of routine patients using nursing process; educate patient and family; ensure continuum of care.

Position Purpose:

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Surgery to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. This position is a great opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person physically, emotionally and spiritually.

What You Will Do

• Employment Type/Shift: FT/Days (10-hour shift) ( Monday through Friday, w/ occasional weekend and call shifts )
• Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning.
• Effectively communicates fundamental patient/family information to health care team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BLS certification AHA (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred.

Pay Range: $41.70 – $55.68

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
