Job summary

Indiana University Health Frankfort Hospital is seeking qualified registered nurses to join our team. Shift: PT, Days at Frankfort Hospital, with no weekends, nights or on-call.

You will care for general surgery, podiatry, and endoscopy patients and cross-train for pre/post recovery, collaborating with top medical professionals to advance patient care. Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA) required.
• Graduated from nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions considered with >2 years acute care experience.
• Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for general surgery, podiatry, and endoscopy patients with pre/post recovery cross-training.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
• Maintain schedule: part-time, weekdays, no weekends/nights/holidays.

At Frankfort Hospital OR, our general patient population includes all adult patients for general surgery, podiatry, and endoscopy. Our nurses cross-train for pre and post recovery.

Our schedule includes no weekends, no nights, no holidays, and no on-call.

Our department hours of operation are 7:00am - 4:00 pm, M-F.

Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
