HCA HealthONE is seeking an OR Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Services team in Denver, CO. You will contribute to patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role focuses on perioperative nursing across age groups, ensuring stock and equipment, assisting with post-procedure tasks, and mentoring staff while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Colorado licensure, BLS, BSN preferred; CNOR a plus; minimum one year OR experience. Some rotation may occur to other areas.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license or multi-state license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Minimum one-year experience in perioperative/OR setting.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized OR nursing across adult, adolescent, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
• Ensure stock and equipment are prepared for each procedure.
• Assist with post-procedure cleanup and room turnover.
• Teach, supervise, and delegate according to staff competency.
• May rotate to non-OR areas within competency.

Job Summary

As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team environment and contribute to patient care. We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our Surgical Services team.

Responsibilities

• Bring specialized OR nurse skills to serve specific age groups: adult, adolescent, geriatric, pediatric.
• Prepare for each procedure by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment.
• Assist with post‑procedure workload, including cleaning the room, putting away supplies, and setting up for the next procedure.
• Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person and delegate according to competency level of staff.
• May rotate to areas other than OR, performing only duties you are competent in.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse or active multi‑state RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Minimum one‑year experience in perioperative/OR setting.
• CNOR certification preferred.
