Job summary

SCA Health in the United States is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room for a Single Specialty Pain Management ASC. You will promote the mission, assess patient status through the perioperative episode, and develop an individualized perioperative plan of care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active state licensure, and BLS; ACLS within 90 days, and PALS if pediatric care is included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment or documented current BLS.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment or documented current ACLS.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included within 90 days.
• Perioperative nursing specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
