Job summary

East Portland Surgery Center is looking for a PRN Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator to join the team. The RN OR Circulator is responsible for all patient care in the procedure room and works with the physician to ensure successful procedures and outcomes for patients.

The position features a Monday-Friday daytime work schedule with no on-call, nights, weekends, or holiday work hours. The center performs a variety of surgeries and is AAACH accredited, offering a dynamic ambulatory

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional Nursing.
• Current Oregon License as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS accredited by AHA required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• 2+ years of experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Experience in basic and advanced procedures and IV sedation experience preferred.
• Experience with medical outpatient procedures desired.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Knowledgeable of hospital/ASC policies and procedures specific to the procedure room.
• Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions with Patients, Physicians & fellow Team members.
• Efficient use of resources.
• Willingness to maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do (Job Summary)
