Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - North Garland is seeking a Registered Nurse Circulator for our outpatient operating rooms in Garland, TX. The Circulator will position and prep patients, circulate cases, and support a range of surgical specialties.

Requirements include an accredited RN program graduate, active Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and at least 1 year in the OR. We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a weekday-only schedule with no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience.
• Ability to make nursing judgments.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient for surgery and prep the patient.
• Circulate the case during surgery and coordinate with the team.
• Assist with intraoperative nursing care and equipment setup.
• Work with surgeons across Orthopedic, ENT, GI, and other specialties.

Registered Nurse Operating Room Circualtor at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - North Garland

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedic Surgery, ENT, GI, Podiatry, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, Colon and Rectal Surgery, and General Surgery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
