HCA Healthcare’s St. David's South Austin Medical Center is seeking an OR Clinical Systems Analyst to optimize surgical IT system usage and coordinate integration with Finance, Supply Chain, Admitting, Infection Control, Risk Management, IT&S, and HIMS.

The role supports installation, planning, education, upgrades, and data integrity audits across departments to ensure compliant, efficient OR operations.

Qualifications

• RN license (Texas) is required.
• BLS certification required per policy.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist OR staff in optimal use of computer system applications.
• Coordinate integration of OR systems with internal and external systems.
• Liaise with Finance, Supply Chain, Admitting, Infection Control, Risk Management, IT&S, and HIMS.
• Install, plan, coordinate, and educate on system applications; perform upgrades and updates.
• Ensure data integrity through periodic audits and policy updates.

Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

To increase profitability in Surgical Services by better use of our IT and related systems. The OR Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for assisting the OR staff in the optimal use of the computer system applications. This includes coordinating integration of OR systems with internal and external systems, as well as a liaison to other hospital departments including, but not limited to Finance, Supply Chain, Admitting, Infection Control, Risk Management, IT&S, and HIMS. Responsible for installation, planning, coordinating and education of system applications, installation, upgrades and updates. Responsible for ensuring data integrity through periodic audits and reviewing/revising policies/procedures in the use of supplied system software. Performs any other job related duties as requested by the Supervisor or Department Director.

What qualifications you will need:

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES:

Required: Registered Nurse license by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. If compact license held, RN is required to obtain a Texas RN license within 90 days of their hire date

BLS required per St. David's policy at time of hire

Reports to: Manager of Surgical Services
