Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking an experienced RN to support operating room teams on a full-time weekend schedule with rotating weekday shifts and holiday call responsibilities.

You will prepare instruments and supplies, maintain sterile technique, and serve as scrub or circulator, anticipating the needs of the surgical team to ensure patient safety. Current RN licensure is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control requirements.
• Ability to function as scrub and circulator and anticipate team needs during procedures.

Position Overview:

• Assist with room setup and maintain sterile conditions in compliance with infection control standards.
• Serve as a scrub and/or circulator during surgical procedures, anticipating the needs of the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• Minimum one year of relevant operating room experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• For inactive licenses over five years, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reinstatement.
