Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking a perioperative nurse to provide scrub and circulating support in the operating room. You will help prepare instruments and supplies, monitor patient status, and assist surgeons with critical tasks.

The role requires RN licensure with BLS, an RN program graduate, and preferably BSN. Prior OR experience is highly valued and you will join a collaborative healthcare team in Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with BLS certification from AHA.
• Graduate of an approved RN program; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrument and supply handling during procedures.
• Monitor and communicate patient conditions.
• Assist surgeons with hemostasis, suturing, and patient positioning.
