Longmont United Hospital is seeking an Operating Room RN to circulate for a diverse caseload within a 6-suite department, handling General, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, OB/GYN, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Breast Surgery, and Robotics cases.
The role requires OR circulation experience, with cross-training to Pre-Op and Phase II recovery as needed. PRN schedule with 5 shifts in 6 weeks and holiday coverage, plus a 120-hour call period every six weeks.
As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.
Every day you will promote optimal patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care and our organizational mission.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to apply the nursing process effectively within a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Schedule- PRN- Variable days of week and start times per Surgical Volume and Current Unit needs. TBD with OR manager during interviews.
Per policy PRN requires a Min availability for 5 shifts in a 6 week schedule block and 2 holiday per year
15% PRN Differential added to base rate
Call required- Approximately 120 hours of call are required per 6 weeks

As an Operating Room RN at Longmont United Hospital, you will circulate for a diverse caseload within a 6-suite department averaging 200-250+ procedures monthly. Surgical services include General, Orthopedics (Totals/Trauma), Neurosurgery, OB/GYN, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Breast Surgery, and Robotics (DaVinci XI and MAKO). Staff are cross-trained across all specialties and responsible for intraoperative relief, room turnover, and supply restocking. While primarily based in the OR, this position requires cross-training to provide support in Pre-Op and Phase II recovery as needed.
