Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a high‑volume OR team. You will care for a designated set of patients, follow policies, and collaborate with surgeons, clinicians and staff in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment.

The role requires 1 year of OR circulating or scrub experience or completion of Periop 101; NLN‑accredited nursing education; NJ RN license with BLS; CNOR preferred. Weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation apply.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year OR circulating or scrub experience or completion of Periop 101.
Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
Current NJ-RN License and BLS certification; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

Follows established policies and procedures.
Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.
Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians.

The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.
