University of Vermont Health Network’s Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, VT seeks an OR Nurse to join the Surgical Services team. This full-time role supports a busy operating room, providing perioperative care, assisting surgeons, and ensuring patient safety. On-call is required and a union position is in place.

Regular 40-hour weeks with day/evening shifts (8- to 10-hour). Eligible for up to a $10K RN sign-on bonus (pro-rated for part-time).

Formación

• Active RN license in Vermont.
• Experience in operating room settings is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Unit Description

As an Operating Room Nurse at Central Vermont Medical Center, you will work in a collaborative, team-oriented surgical environment providing exceptional patient care throughout the perioperative process. The Operating Room operates Monday through Friday and supports a variety of both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons and surgical teams, maintaining a safe and sterile environment, advocating for patients, and ensuring efficient surgical workflow. Candidates must possess prior Operating Room experience and demonstrate strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

On-call: Required

Incentives: Candidates may be eligible for up to a $10K RN Sign-On Bonus for full-time (pro-rated for part time).
