Job summary

Heritage Valley Health System in Beaver, PA, is seeking an operating room nurse to provide professional nursing care during surgical procedures.

This full-time role primarily offers Monday–Friday day shifts with weekend/holiday rotations; on-call is required. Applicants must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold Pennsylvania RN licensure (or multi-state if applicable), and have BCLS, plus OR or Interventional Radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure; other state licensure as required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Recent OR experience and/or Interventional Radiology experience.
• On-call and late shifts may be required.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances within 90 days.

Job description

Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Recent OR experience and/or Interventional Radiology experience. Based on operational needs, on-call and late shifts may be required. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. Certification in this specialty area.
