Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a part-time PRN Registered Nurse for rotating 12-hour shifts in the oncology unit. You will implement and document the nursing process, advocate for patient safety, and support families and staff in a high-quality care environment.

Ideal candidates will have Indiana RN licensure, CPR on hire or within 60 days, and 6+ months of oncology RN experience, with a commitment to diversity and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: Indiana RN license; CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Experience: 6+ months of RN oncology experience.
• Patient advocate ensuring safety and quality in care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process per standards.
• Provide a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate oncology care.

About the job:

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: RN Indiana License. CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• Experience: 6+ months of RN experience in Oncology
