Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for night shifts on a busy hospital unit. The RN will provide direct patient care on the assigned unit and collaborate with physicians to monitor and respond to patient status and evolving conditions.

Ideal candidates hold a Nevada RN license, BLS certification, and will obtain chemotherapy/biotherapy provider credentials within 270 days of hire. This role supports our values of quality care and community health.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English (Speak, Write).
• Current and valid Nevada RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy provider card within 270 days (9 months) of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for unit patients and coordinate with physicians about changes in condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient status and treatment response.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her unit assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
