Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Oncology/Infusion Center on a full-time day shift. You will provide direct patient care, administer chemotherapy, and educate adults with cancer under the Oncology/Hematology Clinical Manager.

Requirements include a current state RN license and BLS; BSN is preferred and Oncology certification is a plus. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Oncology Nursing Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy provider card within 270 days (9 months) of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Oncology/Infusion Center.
• Administer chemotherapy and related treatments.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Oncology/Infusion Center. Provides chemotherapy and related medical oncology treatments and education to adult patients with diagnosed malignancies. Reports to Clinical Manager for Oncology/Hematology and Cancer Registry Services

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid state RN License.

2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

3. Oncology Nursing Certification preferred.

4. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
