Job summary

WCS Healthcare Partners in Cambridge, MA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for onboard oncology care in a LTAC unit. The role involves critical care for patients undergoing chemotherapy and diagnosis management, with a night shift schedule of 12 hours per day for 3 days a week.

Expect detailed charting and collaboration with the medical team. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of oncology nursing experience, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, and hold an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications preferred.
• RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
