Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. The RN will be accountable for appropriate delegation within the health care team.

The role involves evaluating patient needs, administering therapies, and participating in clinical decisions to ensure high-quality care across shifts. A NJ RN license is required and orientation and ongoing education are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• NJ RN License; refer to Nursing policy in manual.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and plan care, then implement and evaluate.
• Administer and document therapies and interventions.
• Participate in clinical decision-making with team.
• Educate patient and family about disease, care needs, safety.
• Delegate and monitor care to nursing staff.
• Participate in orientation and professional development.
• Support performance improvement activities.
• Maintain professional competencies and standards.
