You will collaborate with the care team to plan, implement, and educate while advancing your practice in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts.
  • 1+ years of RN experience preferred.
  • BLS certification; ACLS required in certain units.
  • Nursing degree and BSN preferred; BSN within 4 years encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care in Medical Surgical, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education.
  • Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families.
  • Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
  • Update and manage patient records.
  • Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
  • Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization.
  • Assist leadership with quality improvement projects.
