Job summary

Saint Luke's East Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

This part-time position features a Weekend Work Program with two 12-hour overnight shifts, in a hospital setting where you will apply the nursing process and coordinate care for a group of NICU patients.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• RN licensure/registration required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care using the nursing process and coordinate plans of care for assigned patients.
• Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to policies and procedures.

Position : Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

Shift Details: Weekend Work Program (2-12 overnight weekend shifts)

In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
