Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health in Overland Park, KS, is hiring a registered nurse to provide specialized nursing care in a Level 3B NICU, supporting complex critical care patients and their families.

You will coordinate patient care under the supervision of the Director or Manager, deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, thrive on a night shift with rotating weekends in a 70-bed unit, and contribute to outcomes through sepsis detection and enhanced recovery protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed as a registered nurse in the practice state(s) or hold an active compact license.
• Current BLS certification; NRP certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience; pediatric or critical care experience preferred.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, support families, and work effectively in a team.

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism and accountability.
• Thrive in a night shift role, including rotating weekends, in a 70-bed unit.
• Support the hospital's mission to improve clinical outcomes through innovative technologies and programs, such as sepsis detection and enhanced recovery protocols.
