Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuroscience IMC/PCU Stroke Team. This full-time day shift role involves direct patient care for neurologic conditions and collaboration with physicians and hospital teams.

We provide training for neuro work and encourage RNs with experience in multiple units to apply. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Associate of Science in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other hospital departments.
• Serve as patient advocate and participate in unit activities.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to patient safety initiatives.
