Job summary

Washington Regional Medical System is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and oversee nursing care for assigned patients, including assessments, planning, implementation, and documentation.

The RN will supervise student nurses, nursing assistants, and licensed practical nurses; participate in orientation, and support quality and safety initiatives while working in a diverse clinical environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Arkansas RN license required; CPR.
  • ACLS required within 6 months; ASLS and Dysrhythmia within 18 months.
  • National certification in a relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive and accurate patient assessment.
  • Provide nursing care according to the care plan and maintain documentation.
  • Delegate to and supervise student nurses, nursing assistants, and LPNs.
  • Assist in orientation of new staff and supervise nursing students.
  • Support achievement of quality, safety, regulatory, and budgetary goals.
