Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate resident care in a clean, safe environment and to develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.

The RN will diagnose nursing needs, record medication administration, supervise staff to meet safety regulations, and ensure proper use of equipment and supplies while performing other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Prior RN experience in a nursing community.
• Desire to care for residents with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper resident care in a clean, safe environment.
• Develop and ensure nursing care plans with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Make nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborate with the resident, members of the healthcare team.
• Record the administration of medication.
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility.
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.
