Job summary

St. David’s Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse in the NICU Float Pool to influence patient care through collaborative relationships with management and participation in hospital councils and national nursing initiatives.

Under supervision, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients, meeting ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale requirements with no travel required.

Qualifications

  • RN licensure required.
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required or obtained within set timeframes.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in relevant area.
  • No travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients under supervision.
  • Collaborate with house supervisor and nursing leadership to improve patient outcomes.

Under the direct supervision of the House Supervisor, according to hospital policies and procedures, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for her/his assigned patients.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
  • No Travel Required
  • 2 years experience Required Years of Experience
