Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience in Med Surg/Telemetry.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must be willing to travel and meet a 50+ mile commute for local applicants.
• Night shift 7 PM–7 AM with 48 hours weekly guaranteed.

Responsabilités

• Manage patient diagnoses such as COPD, pneumonia, chest pain, and more.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and monitor cardiac rhythms.
• Administer oxygen and manage vascular lines.
• Utilize rapid response/code team when needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Med Surg/Telemetry role in Massena, New York. This travel position offers 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with guaranteed 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage is every other weekend, and candidates should have at least two years of experience. This position does not accept first-time travelers and requires a commute of over 50 miles for local applicants. Responsibilities include managing patient diagnoses such as COPD, pneumonia, chest pain, and more. Nurses will be expected to handle skills such as dysrhythmia interpretation, oxygen administration, peripheral and central line management, and rapid response/code team utilization. The facility uses the Epic EMR system. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
