Job summary

Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, seeks an experienced RN for the full-time night shift to provide safe, compassionate nursing care and clinical leadership in a busy acute care setting.

BSN preferred with active Nevada RN license; current BLS, and PALS/NRP as required by department. One year full-time or three years part-time acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
