Atrius Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Pediatrics specialty in Peabody, MA. Join a multi‑specialty group within the Optum family, delivering high‑quality, coordinated care to adult and pediatric patients across 28 locations.

You will work within RN protocols, manage medications, and support transitions of care in a collaborative team environment. The role requires graduation from an approved nursing program, MA RN license, BLS, and EMR experience.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted Massachusetts nursing license.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• EMR experience and/or aptitude to learn EMR.
• Up-to-date with current standards of nursing care in specialty.

Responsabilidades

• Build therapeutic and supportive relationships with patients and families; provide education and manage care transitions.
• Deliver patient care and follow-up per RN protocols, including medication administration and chronic disease management.
• Conduct telephone triage and escalate concerns as needed; support care coordination.
• Perform clinical procedures and manage acute conditions; document timely in the EMR.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and mentor nursing staff.

As the Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for effective care delivery and management of patient care within a specialty, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to current standards of nursing practice. Communicates and coordinates effectively with all entities involved in the care of the patient to promote safe, high quality care. Making decisions reflecting critical thinking and evidence based nursing practice.

Position Details

• Location: 2 Essex Center Drive, Peabody, MA

• Standard hours: 24HRS weekly

Primary Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic and supportive relationships with patients and families, providing education and managing care transitions
• Deliver patient care and follow-up in alignment with RN protocols, including medication administration and chronic disease management
• Conduct telephone triage, elevate concerns appropriately, and support the clinical team with ongoing care coordination
• Perform clinical procedures and manage acute conditions during patient visits, ensuring timely documentation in the EMR
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, mentor nursing staff, and uphold high standards of patient service and safety

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing
• Current, unrestricted, license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Proven to be up to date with current standards of nursing care in Specialty
• Computer experience with the ability to use word processing and spreadsheet programs
• Electronic medical records (EMR) experience and/or aptitude to master the EMR based on other technology experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
• 2+ years of RN experience
• Proven solid critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal and patient interviewing skills
• Ability to interpret clinical information, assess the implication of treatment and develop and implement a plan of care
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a rapidly changing environment with multiple demands
• Demonstrated excellence in practice, documentation, and cost-effective care utilization. Maintains high patient satisfaction

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $38.66 - $71.87 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
