Job summary

Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide focused, episodic care across the radiology spectrum, including pre-op, intra-procedural monitoring and post-op recovery for adults and children. Care is delivered to both in-patient and out-patient populations, with readiness for emergencies during procedures.

The role requires Michigan RN licensure, ACLS certification, and 4 of the last 7 years in ED/Interventional Radiology/ICU/SWAT or Survival Flight.

Required Qualifications

• Current Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Four (4) of the last seven (7) years experience in ED, Interventional Radiology, ICU, SWAT or Survival Flight. OR....Current employee as a CSR nurse in the Diagnostic or Interventional Radiology Department
• ACLS certification required

Salary & Nursing Framework Level

This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.

Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.

Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.

Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. Posting may be filled after the initial 5-day posting period.

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Work Schedule

Hours: 40 hours per week, Day shift: Two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week. Start time will be 7am or 8am.

On-call commitment (including weekends) is required for this position.

• Note: Hours for this position may be changed to reflect the activity & needs of the unit. Flexibility in scheduling is required.
• Schedule could include rotation to other Diagnostic Radiology/ACU sites.

All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
