Mercy Hospital Perry - Med Surg is seeking an experienced RN for the full-time night shift, with substantial incentive programs to support ongoing education and debt relief. The role emphasizes nursing process, patient safety, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Must be able to push/pull/lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Complete required certifications within specified timelines (BLS at minimum; ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM as applicable).

Shift: Full-Time - Night Shift, Varies/Rotating

• BSN to MSN Bridging Program to assist in obtaining your MSN (up to $16,000).

• Up to $370 per month directly towards loan payments ($20,000 cap).
• Must start with Mercy within 12-months of graduation.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Other: Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses)
  • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment &Care Modules
  • C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
  • Other unit specific certifications as required
