Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the General Medical/Surgical Unit in Elmhurst, IL. This full-time role covers 36 hours weekly with a night schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, on a rotation that includes every third weekend and holiday track.

The staff nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care, develop and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if ADN, must graduate with BSN within five years of start date (effective Sept 1, 2021).
• RN Diploma if start date prior to Sept 1, 2021.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association).
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing (preferred).
• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do:

What you will need:

Required Education, License and/or Certification, Skills and/or Experience:

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021) Current incumbents with an RN Diploma are grandfathered OR
• RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing
