Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical / Progressive Care - Sepsis Unit at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. The role is full-time and located in Michigan, within a Magnet-designated system delivering advanced patient care.

The RN will provide leadership in coordinating care, using the nursing process, and communicating with patients, families, and the health care team to ensure quality outcomes. BSN is preferred, with ongoing BSN progression supported.

The Registered Nurse provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire
• Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
