Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a 47-bed unit focusing on general medical/surgical care with orthopedic and trauma specialization. You will work in a Magnet-designated facility with strong shared governance, delivering evidence-based care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include Michigan licensure, BLS certification, and RN experience; BSN is preferred, with ADN holders expected to pursue BSN within 4 years.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• ADN holders must enroll in BSN within 6 months of hire and finish within 4 years.
• Current license to practice in Michigan.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Specialty credentials as per clinical practice area are encouraged.
• RN experience required; new grads may apply via Residency program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Trinity Health Grand Rapids 7 Main is a 47-bed unit which primarily serves a general medical/surgical population, specializing in orthopedic and trauma care. Applicants can expect to see a wide variety of diagnoses while also anticipating elective joints and trauma as the Hospital expands its successful Orthopedic Surgery program. Magnet designated facility with active shared decision-making councils. We continuously strive to improve outcomes and provide exceptional experiences for our patients, staff, and community.

Position Summary

Registered Nurse - RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse - RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

What Registered Nurse, RN will need

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Specialty credentials preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty.
• Experience as an RN required. If new grad must apply through the Residency.

What you will work

Full time Night Shift 3 -12 hour shifts per week
