Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical unit at Providence Novi (Novi, MI). This full-time night shift (36 hours/week) offers a sign-on bonus eligible up to $7,500.

You will be part of Nursing Unit 4C/D’s adult inpatient teams. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delegating and documenting activities, and communicating with the healthcare team to meet patient goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing is required.
• BSN preferred. Excellent patient care skills and collaboration with the healthcare team are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

Nursing Units 4C and 4D are adult inpatient units consisting of a 17-bed Medical-Surgical unit (4C) and a 15-bed Medical-Surgical/Oncology unit (4D). Together, these units provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for a diverse population of medical, surgical, and oncology patients. Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality care, promoting positive patient outcomes, and supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey.
