Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for a Per Diem position on the Medical/Telemetry Unit with a day shift schedule.

The RN will provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care on a unit-focused team, following UHS standards and discharge planning to support smooth patient transitions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current ACLS certificate.
• Must have one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Involves patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill; integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients; develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans meeting patient/family needs.

This Registered Nurse opportunity is a Per Diem position on our Medical/Telemetry Unit and a convenient days shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Medical/Telemetry Nurse (RN) that will help provide safe and compassionate care to our patients in the medical/telemetry environment. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
