This Registered Nurse position is full-time on our Med/Tele Unit. It offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. We seek a dynamic Med/Tele RN to provide safe, compassionate care in a medical/telemetry environment, emphasizing Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs of patients and families.
• Construct and implement care plans utilizing nursing knowledge and skills, addressing diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans, developing goals, treatment, and discharge plans tailored to individual needs.
• Perform hourly rounds purposefully to enhance communication, safety, and anticipate patient needs, including environment evaluation for safety and patient comfort.
• Collaborate with care partners to meet educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
• Follow communication best practices, such as SBAR, to minimize risks during handoffs and care transitions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Current Nevada nursing license
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification (or obtained within six months of employment)
• Successful completion of pre-employment assessments
• Preferred: One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting
